CODE OF CONDUCT

  1. ALWAYS BE RESPECTFUL.
  2. ALWAYS ADRESS ALL BLACK BELT INSTRUCTORS AS PROFESSOR, AND ALL NON-BLACK BELT INSTRUCTORS AS COACH.
  3. ABSOLUTELY NO COACHING YOUR CHILDREN OR OTHER STUDENTS DURING CLASS.
  4. NO FOUL LANGUAGE INSIDE THE ACADEMY.
  5. IF YOU ARE LATE TO CLASS, WAIT OUTSIDE THE MAT AREA UNTIL THE INSTRUCTOR GIVES YOU PERMISSION TO JOIN.
  6. DO NOT LEAVE THE MAT AREA WITHOUT PERMISSION FROM THE INSTRUCTOR.
  7. WHEN THE INSTRUCTOR IS DEMONSTRATING TECHNIQUE, ALL STUDENTS MUST SIT OR STAND IN GOOD POSTURE.
  8. TALKING SHOULD BE KEPT TO A MINIMUM AND SHOULD RELATE TO THE CLASS SUBJECT.
  9. ALL STUDENTS AND VISITORS MUST WEAR A CLEAN GI WHEN TRAINING. A DIRTY GI IS A SIGN OF DISRESPECT TO YOUR ACADEMY, TRAINING PARTNERS, AND INSTRUCTORS.
  10. ALWAYS WEAR YOUR SHOES OR SANDALS WHEN OFF THE MAT.
  11. IF YOUR FEET ARE DIRTY USE THE PROVIDED WIPES NEXT TO THE MAT TO CLEAN THEM.
  12. SHIRTS AND RASHGUARDS MUST BE WORN INSIDE THE ACADEMY AT ALL TIMES.
  13. ALL JEWELRY, PIERCINGS, NECKLACES, AND OTHER ITEMS SHOULD BE REMOVED BEFORE STEPPING ON THE MAT TO TRAIN.
  14. KEEP FINGER AND TOE NAILS NEATLY TRIMMED.
  15. WORK HARD.
  16. STAY HUMBLE.
